Egg Co-Op

Our Egg Co-Op is a program designed to allow individuals to have access to fresh eggs, even in the city!  The program aims to teach people about raising urban chickens in Charlotte and question where their food comes from.

Essentially how the program works is a person joins, is taught everything they need to know, then is entered into the rotation.  On their day they must come out to the garden to feed the chickens, top off their water, move the coop (on wheels) so the chickens have fresh grass to eat.  On the day a person works, they get to keep all the eggs that day.  Everyone shares in the work and everyone shares in the benefit.
